06 June 2018 – Term 2: Week 6

 Tēnā koutou e aku rangatira,

The days following the Queen’s Birthday weekend have been chilly ones in and around Allandale School, but it’s nice to see Tama-nui-te-rā out so we can push on with the exciting activities we have planned for the remainder of the Term.  Well done to all who participated in the Year 3/4 cross-country run last week, and best of luck to all students participating in cross-country meets both in and out of school over the next few days.  Kia kaha, koutou!

The Heat Of Summer by Jordan G, Kauri 5

I like the heat of summer because it is the perfect time to go diving with my whole family.

It is a great time to go camping.  I really enjoy planting flowers with my dad early in the morning and I like going bike riding with my sisters and my brothers.
